ABOUT BRIAN KO
I am a Bachelor of Science student in Sport Management at Rutgers University, with an anticipated graduation date of May 15, 2026. As a U.S. Army veteran, husband, and father, I bring discipline, resilience, and purpose into everything I pursue. My journey back into pursuing higher education as a formal non-traditional student reflects my commitment to growth, leadership, and long-term impact.
My academic and professional experiences in sports, which come from recreational sports, youth sport coaching, and fitness education, have shaped my passion for developing my career and helping others. I am especially interested in racquet sports, youth coaching, and using sport as a tool for education and personal development. This portfolio represents not only my internship experiences at Rutgers University, but also who I am.
I am someone committed to bringing strong positivity into the workplace and building great relationships through sport, leadership, and mentorship.

Career Goal
My goal is to grow professionally within the sports business industry by gaining experience across both the professional sports sector and the recreational level. Ultimately, I aspire to build a meaningful career. Through a combination of coaching, education, and sports management, I hope to make a lasting impact on both individuals and communities, inspiring and helping shape the next generation through sport.
